Handicrafts in Northern Cyprus
Lefkara lace is one of the sources of pride of Northern Cyprus. These elegant embroidery have been shaped by the blending of Venetian and Cypriot culture over the centuries. Lefkara lace, each meticulously embroidered, tells a story steeped in history and remains popular today.
Lapta lace is like a work of art. This handicraft, unique to Cypriots, is performed by masters around Lapta. With its unique patterns and delicate workmanship, Lapta lace reflects the cultural texture of Cyprus.
