Icon Museum (Arkhangelos Michael Church)
Located in the town center of Kyrenia, the Icon Museum is a building built in the 1800s and previously used as a church. Today, this historical building has been converted into a museum as one of the important structures of the region.
This building, built in 1860, served as the Orthodox Church of Arkhangelos at that time. In this building, which is used as a museum today, icons found in the Kyrenia region are exhibited. You have the opportunity to discover icons from different periods on each floor of the church, which has 3 floors in total.
The bell tower, which was added after the construction of the church, can be easily seen from every point of the district.
